 The 11th Mumbai Film Festival will unfold on 29th October and will go on till 5th November. A Reliance Big Entertainment initiative, the event is organised by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image. Noted Hollywood scriptwriter, director and Martin Scorsese's long term associate Paul Schrader and eminent Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi will be among the five member International jury. Veteran actor-director Shashi Kapoor has been selected for the 'Life Time Achievement Award'. He will be honoured with the award on the inaugural function of the festival. Whereas, the famous Greek filmmaker, Theodorous Angelopoulos will receive the 'International Lifetime Achievement Award', on the closing ceremony. Both their notable movies will be screened in the festival along with several other movies. The Festival will be held in Fun Republic, the four-screen multiplex in Andheri. |
